The Land Trust worked with the owners of Aspen Valley Ranch to permanently protect 3,908 acres of the larger 18,000-acre ranch in 2020. Explore the protected portion of the ranch as you hike through sagebrush meadows to a ridge overlooking the Crooked River. Learn more about the wide variety of wildlife that call the ranch home. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event.

Hike Rating: This is a challenging 4 mile hike off-trail through sagebrush meadows.
Route: This hike will start at a parking area and go off-trail through sagebrush meadows. Terrain will be uneven at times.
Elevation gain/loss: This hike is challenging with ~700' of elevation gain/loss.
