We can finally let the cat out of the bag! The Land Trust's own Amanda Egertson and Whychus Canyon Preserve are featured in a new National Geographic series called Tasting Wild! This new series features world-renowned chef Melissa King teaming up with a National Geographic explorer to "seek inspiration and discover the flavors of the wild places all around us."
The first episode is set in Central Oregon where Melissa King teams up with National Geographic Adventure Photographer and rock climber Irene Yee to explore the high desert and create a meal inspired about the experience. Along the way they visit Whychus Canyon Preserve and learn about native plants and butterflies with the Land Trust's stewardship director Amanda Egertson. Watch the episode below!
