Land Trust Trail Ambassadors are volunteers who regularly hike trails at Land Trust Preserves to promote the safe, responsible, and enjoyable use of trails. Ambassadors provide information to trail users, record and report problems or sightings to Land Trust staff, and take an active role in promoting the Land Trust.

Specific duties include:

  • Help Preserve visitors as needed.
  • Answer general questions about the Preserve and the Land Trust.
  • Provide directional assistance for trail users.
  • Promote trail etiquette, safety and awareness.
  • Check overall Preserve and trail conditions.
  • Report on Trail Ambassador visits.

Difficulty:

Requires hiking a variety of trails at Land Trust Preserves. Some will be higher mileages in more rugged terrain. Volunteers may encounter risks associated with terrain, wildlife, other users, and weather at any time.
