Bird Survey Site Orientation
Ready to take the next step in your Land Trust bird survey orientation? Then join the Deschutes Land Trust for a site orientation at Camp Polk Meadow Preserve in Hindman Springs. We’ll show you where to survey, what routes to follow, and share important details about property rules and boundaries. Note: you must have completed the first steps in the bird survey orientation process to join this training.
Rating: This is an easy, less than 1 mile walk on a gravel trail. Portions may be off-trail through a grassy meadow.
What to bring: Binoculars (if you have them), snacks, water, closed toe shoes. Dress for the weather.
