Join the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council for a day of stream sampling along Whychus Creek! Volunteers will collect aquatic macroinvertebrates (water critters without skeletons) that help determine the overall health of the creek. Meet at Creekside Park in Sisters for a sampling training, then, in teams of two to four, collect samples from sites along Whychus Creek. Learn how habitat restoration is changing stream conditions for salmon and steelhead while enjoying the scenery that surrounds Whychus Creek!
